Hi all, new member here. I collect diecast scale 1/43 models. All my models are right hand drive and have UK number plates. My theme is "walking into a UK car park in 1985", therefore I do not go past B-reg!

Here are pictures of all seventeen models I have so far:

I'm always customising models where necessary. For example the red escort was initiallly a left hand drive with continental number plates and the white sierra origininally came with a grilled nose.

My favourite car is the ford sierra mk1 with the smooth nose, I'm currently in the process of painting these in different colours to add to my collection. More pictures will be up everytime there's a new addition to the car park Wink

Well,

I could 'offer' you a Mk I Ford Escort, a 'Stage 1' Landrover V8 LWB or a Lamborghini Countach LP400

However, the Countach comes as a non-separable part of a full collection of several hundred models of the Countach, ranging in size from 3mm long to 600mm long, and from crystal through plastic and white metal, to sterling silver. It also comes along with every poster, postcard, book, tee-shirt and mug of of the Countach ever released. As Carlsberg would say, "Probably the biggest collection of Countach memorabilia in the world". First offer of £10,000 secures, with free personal delivery anywhere in Europe.

The Escort is actually carved from coal (yep, coal !!), and the Landrover is just 'not for sale'!!

Cheers,
Niall

Updated pictures - I've took pictures of all the models again as some have had new number plates and look better. I had quite a few waterslide plates done really cheaply so thought might as well replace the ones I did via microsoft word. The only additions are the silver sierra and the gold fiesta.

I've put new alloys on the painted sierra to make it slightly different from the original red sierra:

Next motor will be a light-blue coloured sierra I'm currently painting, it will be a slightly darker shade than the talbot sunbeam.

resprayed sierra in chestnut brown colour, original paint was stripped off but a primer wasn't used:

Tomorrow I will post pictures of all 23 cars in one shot lined up in a different car park.

Here's all the cars in one shot:

front row:

middle row (on left):

back row:

Don't know when the next addition will be, there are a few more models due out in the future that I want. Repainting/spraying the mk1 ford sierra is an ongoing work in progress, next one's going to be in velvet-blue colour, probably some time in November.

Here's a picture of a resprayed escort and sierra along with an original cortina:

I'll try to update the big car park within the next week or so as there's been a few changes since last time.
