34-36 in mine, I'm very light on the pedal but have to negotiate around 20 sets of traffic lights before i can get out of town. It's awd diesel auto. No real long runs yet and around 360 miles done.

All those worried about mpg after a few miles. Don't fret. I've had two Kugas and about to get my third. The mpg improves quite a bit after a few thousand miles.

It's true. Our 59 plate Fiesta didn't 'loosen up' until over 10,000 miles. Then fuel economy started to improve. I don't believe you get any useful figures until then.

158 Miles on the clock, mainly longer runs but certainly not flat, 36-37 at the moment.
Update 1 - 380 miles on the clock upto 38mpg(90% additional miles on motorway)
Update 2 - 750 miles on the clock upto 40mpg (95% additional miles on motorway)
Update 3 - 900 miles on the clock, av mpg reset, showing 38mpg for the additional 150 miles of mixed motorway, A roads & local.

Evening all...

Only done 115 miles in my Mk2 and pretty steady town driving at that. MPG has edged up to 37.6 already. In comparison I had done 11.5K miles in my Mk1 when I traded her in and she seemed to be stuck at 39.6 regardless.... Confident that the Mk2 will give better figures as she beds herself in.

I've had my new MK2 Kuga approx 6 weeks now.Approx 1500 mls, average 40.8 per gallon. About 10 miles per gallon less than my previous car ( Kia Sportage 1.7 Diesel ) but a world of difference from the Kia.

Kuga has done approx 450 miles so far and current MPG according to the computer is 41.6 MPG, this is a mixture of local and longish runs, seems to be getting better all the time. My previous Kuga 136 AWD Titanium seemed to hover around the 36 MPG so the FWD seems to be a lot more economical so I am happy with this.
