HI i am new to this forum so i hope i am not duplication previous queiries.

We bought a MK1 Kuga 4 wheel drive in January 2017 from Ford Skipton.
Mileage is 47k i bought the car for towing our caravan.
the problem is we had a huge wobble throughout the car when the car was being accelerated since this i have had both front drive shafts replaced, the problem is a bit better but we are still getting wobble at speeds of 20 mph.

Has any one else had this situation and if so how was it resolved.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.
How does they wobble manifest itself, does the whole car shake or is it the steering wheel.
If the front drive shaft replacement didn't fix it, was this done by the Ford dealer, have you gone back to explain that the fault is still there.

Hi
Many thanks for the reply.

The whole car shakes but only at low speed now second gear 20mph.

The problem started in France earlier in the year and gradually became worse, our garage looked at the drive shafts and noticed on was not sealed, previously bodged up job by the looks of it we had the other done as a matter of course.

The work was completed by my local garage who i have trusted with my vehicles for many years.

Many thanks

The first thing I would look at is tyres.
Can you find another Kuga who would allow you to swap wheels to see if your vibration went away.
Also what does the local garage make of it do they have any ideas?

Hi cant see the tyres being the issue, as when rolling in neutral the wobble isn`t there.
Has any members had a similar fault to what we are experiencing and if so what was the cause.

Maybe a bearing an engine fault etc.

Thanks

As much information as you can give will help when trying to diagnose a fault.
As you have replaced the front axle the parts left are the Haldex unit, the gearbox, rear axle or one of the engine or gearbox mounts.
I don't think anyone will be able to help from a computer keyboard, take it to the trusted garage.
