i have often seen water jets on the headlamps operating when the windscreen wipers were working and like you I didn't know how they operated, now I do. Many thanks for the info, cheers, bayman

I agree it is really short, but the washers only squirt for a second or so... Have added an 8 second version to the original post (filmed in the dark). Dont quite think I`ll make it producing films!!! |

Nice one Bruce. I've always tried to see how this works, but by the time I jumped out of the driving seat and go to the front of the car, I missed the action. Got a bit wet though. Screen wash don't taste nice don't ya know!

I really like a lot of the small insignificant features of my Kuga, but the headlamp washers are one of the coolest.
I recently had to replace on of the chrome covers as it had a stone chip on it. A bit fiddly but easy enough. The little 'wobble' at 25 secs are the guides on the back of the chrome bit re-aligning with the slots in the headlamp assembly to ensure a perfect fit. H
