Who's going then.....

8th August at the home of British Motor Racing. Have ordered my tickets on line at £16, saving £4 on the day.

Went last year and a great day out. Good venue to meet up with other like minded Kuga owners.

Plenty to see and do, trade stands and owners clubs, dyno testing, track racing, 1/4 mile sprints etc.

It is yearly and I believe this will be it's 25th.

I will be there, did ask if there was any interest in a Kuga Owners Club stand but the silence was deafening!

I know how you feel Morph - was 6 months back that I made mention of getting a Kuga Owners Club Stand at the FFOC National Day this September (of which I am still Bucks Regional Head) and that too was met with silence.  So I guess members here are just happy to sit tapping their keyboards with very little interest of anything on the social side - ie meets and shows!
Vision Titanium AWD, 18" Alloys, Appearance, Convenience and X Packs, Advance Touch Screen Nav,USB, Sunblinds. Power Converter, Alloy Foot Pedals and Scuff Plates. Oh and the seat back trays!

I have tried on a couple of occasions to try and arrange meets, but met with the same silience.
Would think more regional meets would be better and one yearly meet at ford fair or similar venue.

Happy to meet anywhere in the Hants Berks Wilts Oxon areas, in pub, cafe, beauty spot for photo shoot etc, for any younger driver, Maccy Dee carparks

Use to be a member of the XROC and show of the XR3i in diamond white, moons ago.

Think there are two threads running on the same subject. I'm happy to go, be good to get out from behind this keyboard and show off my Kuga.
Titanium, App/Con/Xpack in Electric White - So white - looks like I cleaned it in DAZ.

To say "So I guess members here are just happy to sit tapping their keyboards with very little interest of anything on the social side - ie meets and shows" is a bit unfair since areas mentioned are about 400 mile from Edinburgh. I certainly wouldn't drive that just for a meet nor would I expect anyone from these areas to drive to Edinburgh.

The only way meets would work is if it was regional, but since there are few Kuga's about (that seems to be changing now) a meet might be with about 3 people, which would just look like a random meet when out and about, rather than an organised occasion.

So before some get accused of just happily "tapping away" think of the reason why they are!
