Thumbs Down Well Kuga in for first service only 5.5k on clock but wanted a service to address all the small issues like carpet wear at clutch, misty lights etc.
£182 for an Hour and a half service and no mention of some of the minor faults i.e. rear drivers side window not closing when using remote. Asked them about the lights, carpet etc and was asked to speak to the service manager thru the week with a view to bringing the kuga in to have it checked for a few days. Asked if they would give me a kuga replacement, and the receptionist was not sure, told her That I did not want a fiesta or something.
Will go in personally when I get time thru the week , and ask about the issues and their knowledge of them.

Allthough It was raining it was not washed, hoovered and not even paper put down on the mats.

Maybe because Macklin have just taken over from Shields maybe thats why I was'nt impressed, but we will see.

Hi Andy, I received a phone call from the service manager after he saw my post ( Who does'nt read the forums! ) and asked me to  go back in to discuss the minor issues and agreed that the service was not up to scratch, but mentioned the time constraints on a Sat morn etc. I have been working up in the north of Scotland the last few weeks but hope to call in soon to discuss.
Just received a questionaire from Ford themselves asking me about the service !
Rather than doing any 'Dealer bashing' I will wait until a few weeks until I get up to Macklins, and receive some kind of service that reflects the price paid.
