Topic: G2 Touch Posted: 10 Mar 2010 at 3:57am |
Hi there,
I am about to sign a new contract with T mobile for a G2 Touch which I beleive is made by htc but before I do I would like to know if any of you have one and if it connects to the ford bluetooth system without any problems.
Thanks for your help.

Here's a link off the Ford site with a list of phones compatible with the Kugas Bluetooth technology: http://www.ford-mobile-connectivity.com/overview?id=119&cradle_support=0&box_id=3&intro_date=

Has anyone got a Blackberry 9700? I have one and have a new Kuga coming next week and this Blackberry doesn't figure in the list of compatible phones!

Bob, I work for RIM makers of the BlackBerry , my BlackBerry works fine with the Kuga. The Bold 9700 is a pretty new device, I would not expect it to behave differenly to the Storm 2 or Bold 9000.
Hope this helps.

And if it doesn't then you now have a fasttrack route into RIM to fix any bluetooth issues. :)

FYI, What the Ford Website says about the HTC Magic is not true. For example, it says it does not have the contact names in the phonebook but only the numbers.
This is not true, it does show the names.
Therefore, I would take the information on the Ford Website with a pinch of salt and then actually test your device personally with your vehicle to determine the extent of the compatibility.

Hi UK Cobra,
Thanks for the info. Stroke of luck you work for RIM!
I figured the software must be similar to those phones listed but let's see if it works.
Thanks again
