Unfortunately, the wife and I had to rush down to the local hospital this afternoon (father-in-law had bad fall) and as usual there were no parking spaces. I dropped the "better half", at the A&E doors and then done the wagon train routine, in the car park. After about 15 mins of going round and round, there it was a parking bay. Made straight for it and reversed into the space. Once parked I looked around and for the first time in my Kuga life, I felt "small". Parked, in the next bay and a half, was an Audi Q7.

What a beast ! What a car! What a size!

It really did make my Kuga look small in comparison to the Q7's length, width and height.

Sorry to hear about your father-in-law, hope he's okay.

As for the Q7 - one word to sum it up. Vulgar !!

Hi jayarr hope your Father In Law is OK.  Don't tell me about hospitals and parking spaces it's a nightmare in our local Wythenshawe Hospital, but as always I digress yes yes the Q7 is a bit of a monster, a car that shouts this is my lane and I'm going to fill every inch of it and then some . . . Not sure whether it's just Kuga in certain colour, ours is Avalon but sometimes the Kuga looks very very small an optical doo dar perhaps, I knew it,  should of gone to Spe . . . . .s.

championkuga Re:  I think black one's look bigger,  I was just fifteen, she was 25, and as I stood there in my paddington bear PJ's, that line has both crucified and haunted me, never ever quite got over it, that feeling of totally and utter inadequacy. But hey thanks for bringing it all back.

jayarr, I hope all is well at the hospital.
I have to be pleading tiredness or even a sick headache in order to get the OH to drive the Kuga, she is convinced it is a barge. I have to remind her all the time that it is a Focus sized car.

And bobuptown ..... LOLLOLLOL

bob, meant to say that I am shocked Embarrassed. With regards to the Kuga, my wife describes it as bit of a "tardis".
