another dearlership sampled yesterday...after a bit of haggling i got em down to the same sorta figures as dealer one....will try one more just for completeness, but it looks like (assuming i can use privilage) that i can get a new loaded Titanium for around the same price as an ex demo when you take in to account all the offers going on......and with the bonus of me being 1st name on the log book, no miles on the clock...and on a '10' plate :)

best of all the local dearlership happens to have one in the right spec in their stock...so may well be saving the wait to build one :)

did some test driving today.....

im set on electric white after seeing all the colours...just gotta find one that meets the specs or there abouts....i figured i can prob live without the satnav..i can either retrofit or just use my iphone!

Griff,
The rear seats do fold flat, dead easy, you pull the seat up first to vertical position, then fold the back forward untill flat, only difference is the thickness of the boot carpet.

well im no kuga expert...but the above looks like the seat section isn't folded up when the back is folded down...

its should look like this (pics stolen from ebay! :) )

Slidey rear seats was standard on the (similar price) CRV and Rav4 3 years ago ...

the Q5 has the slidey rear seat feture...its useful i guess...but its on another level when it comes to pricing structure!...ill stick to standard folding seats!

Sure, but what about reclining backrests or an option for sliding forward when not occupied to give more space? Loads of cars can do this now.
