Is the Pioneer AVIC-F9220BT not the correct size?

Black Titanium, Appearance pack, 18" Alloys

Hi

I fitted an AVIC F910BT it looked great and was easy to fit, facia adaptors are readily available. However, the satnav was useless. I made so many complaints that I was invited to Pioneer's technical centre in Slough. They replaced the unit with an 920BT which they also agreed didn't work.

The problem seems to be that the car is always ahead of the map, we drove around for miles with engineers on board mapping the exact GPS location and checking these against known co-ordinates, so far I have no solution. I can't rely on the unit to get me anywhere as you are usually past the turning you are supposed to take. It has been such a dissapointment, my iphone works better running the TomTom app. I've started to wonder if there is somethig odd about the Kuga speedsensor system, but even with that disconnected the mapping is slow.

I'd seriously consider another make if you want satnav that you can rely on. I chose Pioneer as I wanted to transfer my DAB tuner into the Kuga and I could plug that into the Pioneer bus system.
