Have you enabled "sync contacts" in bluetooth settings
Click in the "i" at the end of "sync" in bluetooth to open the bluetooth settings for your phone

Good afternoon,

This is my first post so be gentle!

Recently purchased a 2010 plate, the missus tried to connect her phone which does, but it wont play music through the bluetooth. Any ideas why or what to do to make it work?

Thanks in advance

make sure notifications are enabled with sync connection if texts are getting through that's probably ok
what has caught me out on occasion is the last used audio on the phone if you have open a link on a tweet or YouTube spotify etc when music is the last used opening Bluetooth audio usually launches it without touching phone I need max volume on the phone and much higher volume than radio but display shows track names etc

can any one help?
just got a 2008 titanium awd model.
On the stereo face plate i have red and green phone buttons which mute the stereo and beside the stereo on the control panels where you choose cd, radio, ect there is also a phone button.

The question is can i connect a phone?
I cannot find out how or if there is a bluetooth connection or how to get to it through the menu system if there is one.

Thanks

If you press either green or red phone button and radio mutes then you do not have bluetooth for a phone connection unfortunately

Hi there

Hoping you can help me. My kuga is a 61 plate 2012 it has Sony audio.

When pressing the phone button it comes up with audio muted and won’t allow any menus but when I search on my phone it picks up ford audio so surely this means it does have Bluetooth?

It keeps saying phone deboned necessary when I try and connect but I can’t Devon’s phones because there is no menu to do it?

Any help would be much appreciated thank you?

Alex

It's an absolute bitch to setup and Ford give no instructions.

I think I went to my phone's Bluetooth menu, clicked on Ford Audio then while it was trying to connect you press Phone on the stereo.

It took me several attempts but there is a combination you need to do an viola it's connected.
